People and Culture Coordinator
Momofuku
The People and Culture Coordinator will be responsible for HR system maintenance and support and general HR support. This position will be able to participate in a variety of capacities with the HR and Payroll team, allowing room to be involved and contributing in all aspects of the department.
Responsibilities
HRIS/Analytics–
- Conduct weekly auditing by generating workflow reporting of employee information in Paycom and ensure that employee information is up to date across all benefit platforms.
- Update and manage employee personal information in Paycom as requested.
- Electronic employee file maintenance includes saving DARs and ROCs to employee files.
- Responsible for the upkeep and organization of employee electronic files both term and active (Employee and Benefit Folders).
- Ensuring the HRIS system always has the most updated policies, handbooks, sops, etc.
- Monthly reporting and data analytics on turnover and the like to feed the HR dashboard
- Be the point of contact for any tech related HR issues with the HRIS system.
- Manage the process of internal transfer hourly PAFs.
- Handle payroll administrative related duties such as HRIS system account resets.
- Manage and run reports through the HRIS system as requested by HR, Payroll and management.
Team Member Relations
- Monitor HR inbox and respond to inquiries with appropriate responses, escalate as needed to other members of the team
- Support creation of SOPs and handbooks, along with required maintenance
- Assist with new team member orientation
- Manage all employment verification calls, letters, and requests.
- Support engagement with stay interviews, exit interview, engagement surveys and monthly recognitions (personal and professional)
- Making rounds to/from the restaurants as needed.
Talent Sourcing
- Manage posting job ads on applicant tracking systems and third-party posting sites while ensuring they are up to date and confirming to state laws.
- Host calibration call and screen applicants for salaried roles
- Support Open calls
- Maintain an active sourcing strategy document
- Making rounds to/from the restaurants as needed.
All other administrative assistance to keep our team organized and efficient.
Requirements
- Experience in reporting and HRIS systems
- Must have strong oral and written communication skills
- A keen sense of detail, analytics and organization is required
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team
- Maintains discretion in matters of confidentiality
Preferred Requirements
- 1+ years’ experience within Human Resources preferred
- Paycom system software experience preferred or equivalent
- An interest in the hospitality industry is strongly preferred
Physical Demands
- The physical demands for this position are seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds, sitting, standing, bending, and moving intermittently during working hours. These physical requirements may be accomplished with or without reasonable accommodation.

Pay Scale Metrics
Momofuku HRIS Coordinator employed in our New York City operations function within a pay band of twenty to forty dollars ($20 - $40) per hour. The metrics for each individual pay is as follows: If a candidate meets all role Requirements, he/she/they are considered qualified for the position and eligible to receive a rate of twenty-six dollars ($26) per hour.
For every Preferred Requirement a candidate meets, they are eligible to receive an additional one dollar ($1.00) per hour.
