Position Summary
We're seeking a dynamic, skincare-obsessed Selling Specialist Freelancer (part-time) to drive brand awareness and Sephora sales while supporting in-store education. This part-time freelance role focuses on educating clients, building relationships, and creating results-driven client experiences.
This position requires work on weekends, evenings, and some holidays. We are seeking coverage in the following territories: San Jose, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Houston, Dallas, Orange County. The anticipated hourly range for this position is $26-$30. Exact hourly rate depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Hourly range may vary based on geographic location.
The Impact You'll Make
- Educate Sephora store teams on INNBEAUTY Project skincare and brand story
- Drive store sales and build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with store-level personnel to maximize brand partnerships and build brand love.
- Engage with customers to provide expert skincare advice and product recommendations based on their individual needs.
- Build authentic relationships with clients to drive loyalty and repeat engagement
- Demonstrate product usage and educate customers about the benefits of our skincare line.
- Manage inventory at store level in accordance with Sephora’s operational procedures, obtaining and acting on assortment cycle count reporting when necessary.
- Maintain merchandise displays and ensure that products are well-stocked and organized.
- Track and report sales
- Fully understand and follow Sephora’s business model and culture.
- Identify and communicate merchandising and assortment opportunities to the operations team.
What You Bring
- Proven experience in retail sales, preferably in the beauty or skincare industry at Sephora.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers.
- Passion for skincare and a solid understanding of different skin types and concerns.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
- Enthusiastic and charismatic with strong negotiation skills.
- Must possess a valid state driver’s license, good driving record, and required auto insurance policy.
- Undergraduate degree preferred.
