JOB SUMMARY:

The Community Marketing Intern will support the Clio Snacks Marketing Team in growing and engaging our brand community across social media and ambassador channels. This role will focus on creating social media content, fostering two-way conversations with our audience, and supporting the Community Marketing Manager in executing engagement strategies. They may also assist the broader marketing team as needed if time allows.

Over the course of the internship, the Community Intern will gain hands-on experience in community management, social media strategy, and digital brand building in a fast-paced, CPG environment. They will contribute to the day-to-day operations of the marketing team, including social media content development, community and ambassador engagement, and consumer trend reporting.

HOURS: 10-20 hours per week based on workload

Social Media Community:

  • Create engaging content, for Clio Snacks TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube that presents Clio as a fun, authentic, and trend-forward brand.
  • Monitor social platforms daily, responding to comments, tags, and direct messages in Clio’s brand voice.
  • Drive outbound engagement by actively connecting with other brands, creators, and communities to expand Clio’s reach and keep the brand present in relevant cultural conversations.
  • Support community growth by identifying new engagement opportunities and leveraging trends, memes, and cultural moments to propose innovative content that positions Clio ahead of the curve
  • Join weekly marketing standups as schedule allows and contribute fresh perspective and ideas to content planning.

Ambassador Community:

  • Help manage Clio’s brand ambassador program through active engagement in ambassador chats and timely approval of completed challenges.
  • Contribute creative ideas to enhance and evolve Clio’s ambassador program, including new challenges, incentives, and ways to engage ambassadors.
  • Assist with tracking and fulfilling ambassador redeemed prizes

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, etc.) and understanding of emerging trends.
  • Experience in content development with marketing and brand-building lens
  • Comfortable appearing on camera for social content, representing Clio in an authentic and engaging way.
  • Familiarity with community engagement and enthusiasm for connecting with audiences online.
  • Ability to contribute creative ideas and adapt to the fast pace of digital culture

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or more
  • Junior or Senior currently enrolled in college program, preferably with a focus on marketing or communications
  • Experience or understanding of how to work and collaborate with a remote, distributed team
