Blaze Pizza in Durham is hiring motivated Shift Leaders who are ready to lead a team, deliver great guest service, and grow with a company that promotes from within. Pay: $14.00–$16.00 per hour, plus a guaranteed $3.00 per hour in tips added directly to your paycheck.

About the Role

As a Shift Leader, you will help run successful shifts by supporting the team, creating a welcoming guest experience, maintaining restaurant standards, and helping the store operate smoothly. Shift Leaders set the tone for the team by leading by example, staying organized, and keeping service fast, friendly, and accurate.

Responsibilities

· Lead and support Crew Members during assigned shifts.

· Provide excellent customer service and help ensure every guest has a positive experience.

· Keep the team focused, organized, and working together in a fast-paced environment.

· Assist with food preparation, order accuracy, register duties, and daily restaurant operations.

· Help maintain cleanliness, food safety, and company standards throughout the shift.

· Coach team members, answer questions, and support training for new employees.

· Help resolve guest concerns in a professional and positive way.

· Support opening, closing, and shift handoff procedures as needed.

Requirements

· Must have reliable transportation to and from work.

· Strong customer service skills and a friendly, positive attitude.

· Leadership ability and a desire to grow with the company.

· Dependable, punctual, and able to take responsibility during shifts.

· Good communication, organization, and teamwork skills.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

· Previous restaurant or leadership experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person.
