Overview
The General Manager (GM) provides overall leadership through building a team of unmatched talent to deliver excellent product quality and industry-breaking guest service in every interaction; every shift. The GM leads by example in maximizing profitability and business growth through use of brand standards and operations excellence tools to ensure business results are achieved
Duties
- Demonstrates leadership skills which positively reinforce the Blaze Pizza culture, communicates clearly with collaborative mindset to resolve conflict, problem solve and influence behavior.
- Recruit and equip employees to deliver great guest interactions and deliver consistent product quality. Practices equal opportunity employment, non-discrimination, and ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) compliance.
- Serve as a role model by ensuring the proper execution of all Blaze processes, systems, and standards for any training requests.
- Accountable for new hire orientation and training, ensuring new team members complete their training checklist and are certified.
- Must have all certification requirements which include: ServSafe Food Handler, Responsible Beverage Service, and all other requirements as needed.
- Accountable for ensuring team members have completed certification requirements.
- Leads performance conversations and uses coaching practices to develop Managers and Team Members.
- Build a healthy performance management bench of capable Managers and Team Members.
- Ensures all labor laws (federal, state, and local) are followed.
- Ensure local health and safety codes, and company safety and security policies are met · Control day-to-day operations (scheduling labor, ordering food and supplies, etc.) to successfully support a $1.5mm – $2.5mm restaurant.
- Ensures safe restaurant environment conditions are met which puts guest safety is a priority.
- Monitors restaurant Speed with Service (SWS) and OLO performance to meet performance targets.
- Serves as a role model in resolving guest feedback and works to exceed guest service standards.
- Monitor root causes of guest dissatisfaction and coach team on feedback and resolution techniques.
- Analyzes sales, labor, inventory and other resources on a continual basis and coaches on corrective action to meet or achieve margin and sales growth targets.
- Ensures that facilities and equipment, including maintenance and property are maintained to Blaze Pizza standards; coordinates facility upgrades or equipment replacement with corporate office.
- Control Profit & Loss by following cash/security procedures, maintaining inventory, managing labor, reviewing financial statements/reports, and taking action reviews and prioritizes store capital expenditure requests.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 2 – 4 (Two to four) years of Operations Management experience in QSR, Fast-Casual, Casual Dining or Retail environment.

- Basic Math and accounting skills and strong analytical, decision-making.
- Basic computer literacy and data analytics knowledge.
- Track record in manager selection, coaching, and development.
- Good oral/written communication skills with exceptional team-building experience.
- Positive and energetic self-starter, with a passion for leadership.
Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
