Overview

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble food items quickly and accurately according to established recipes and standards
• Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders efficiently
• Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance sales
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and food handling zones in compliance with food safety regulations
• Assist with food delivery from kitchen to customers, including bussing tables and managing food presentation
• Support team members during busy periods by managing multiple tasks such as food prep, serving, and cleaning

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurants is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn!
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order calculations
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards in the food industry
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus; training will be provided if needed
• Experience with food handling, sanitation practices, and kitchen operations is advantageous
• Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
