Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding service throughout their visit
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently
• Handle cash, credit card transactions, and food handling with precision and integrity
• Assist with food preparation, serving, bussing tables, and maintaining sanitation standards in the café or quick-service environment
• Upsell menu items or products to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and food prep zones in compliance with food safety standards
• Support team members with basic math calculations for cash handling and retail math accuracy

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation, food service, or retail environments such as grocery stores or quick-service restaurants
• Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for seamless transaction processing
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively influence customer experiences
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, sales calculations, and retail transactions
• Previous restaurant experience or culinary background is highly desirable to excel in this role
