Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Shift Leader and take charge of delivering exceptional food service in a fast-paced, energetic environment! As a key player on the management team, you will oversee daily operations, motivate staff, ensure food quality and safety standards are met, and create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Duties

  • Supervise daily restaurant operations during your shift, ensuring smooth workflow and excellent customer service.
  • Lead, motivate, and train team members on food preparation, service techniques, and safety protocols to foster a high-performing environment.
  • Oversee food handling, cooking processes, and food production to maintain quality standards aligned with health regulations.
  • Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling.
  • Control inventory levels through effective stock management, ordering supplies as needed to prevent shortages or waste.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards and sanitation procedures to uphold the restaurant’s reputation for cleanliness and quality.
  • Assist with interviewing, onboarding new staff, and conducting ongoing training & development initiatives to build a skilled team.
  • Handle customer concerns promptly to guarantee a positive dining experience and promote guest satisfaction.
  • Support kitchen management by coordinating food preparation schedules and supervising culinary staff during busy hours.
  • Participate in budgeting activities and monitor labor costs to optimize operational efficiency.

Skills

  • Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service management within quick service or fast-food environments.
  • Strong leadership skills with previous supervising or management experience in hospitality or restaurant settings.
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for transactions and reporting.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally.
  • Knowledge of inventory control practices, food safety regulations, and sanitation standards.
  • Ability to train staff effectively in food handling, kitchen procedures, and service excellence.
  • Experience in managing shift operations within casual dining or fine dining establishments is highly desirable.
  • Competence in cash handling, budgeting, and operational planning to support restaurant profitability.

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
