Duties

• Prepare food items according to company standards, ensuring quality and presentation
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently
• Take customer orders with enthusiasm, upselling menu items to enhance the guest experience
• Handle cash transactions, perform cash handling duties, and give correct change using basic math skills
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety guidelines
• Assist with food handling, packaging, and serving orders promptly to minimize wait times
• Support team members in food preparation and kitchen tasks to ensure smooth restaurant operations

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation, quick service restaurants, or retail food environments preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transaction processing
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell and promote menu items confidently
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks during busy periods
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced restaurant or café setting with a team-oriented attitude
• Basic math skills for cash handling, sales calculations, and retail math applications

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
