Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dynamic General Manager - Restaurant to lead our team to excellence. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for guests while maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and service. Duties

  • Lead daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service delivery and adherence to company standards.
  • Manage staff recruitment, training, development, and performance evaluations to build a motivated and skilled team.
  • Oversee food preparation and kitchen management to ensure quality, consistency, and compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Control inventory levels, monitor food costs, and implement effective stock management practices.
  • Supervise cash handling procedures and utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for accurate transactions.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service by addressing guest feedback promptly and professionally.
  • Coordinate shift schedules, manage labor costs, and optimize operational workflows for maximum efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all restaurant areas including food handling and sanitation protocols.
  • Develop marketing initiatives and promotional strategies to increase customer engagement and sales.
  • Conduct staff training sessions focused on food safety, culinary techniques, hospitality standards, and team development.

Skills

  • Proven management experience in quick service & fast food or casual dining restaurants with supervising responsibilities.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen operations, and culinary standards.
  • Expertise in POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS along with cash handling procedures.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a positive work environment.
  • Experience in inventory control, budgeting, and food cost analysis to maximize profitability.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and problem resolution.
  • Ability to train staff effectively in food safety practices, food handling, and hospitality standards.
  • Familiarity with restaurant management software and tools for shift management and reporting.
  • Strong communication skills paired with the ability to interview candidates and develop talent within the team.
