Job Summary
We are looking for an energetic and motivated Shift Leader to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be at the forefront of our operations, ensuring that everything runs smoothly during your shift. You’ll lead by example, providing exceptional customer service while managing staff and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations during your shift, ensuring all staff are performing their duties efficiently.
- Assist in food preparation and cooking, adhering to established recipes and quality standards.
- Manage cash handling procedures and ensure accurate transactions using POS systems like Qu.
- Train and develop team members, fostering a positive work environment that encourages growth.
- Maintain inventory control by monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering supplies as needed.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices at all times.
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
- Support management in scheduling staff and conducting interviews for new hires.
Requirements
- Minimum of 18 years of age.
- Previous experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant is essential.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with both staff and customers positively.
- Familiarity with inventory management and budgeting practices in a restaurant setting.
- Experience with cash handling procedures and proficiency in using POS systems.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the food industry.
- Reliable transportation is a plus.
- A background in hospitality management or culinary experience is highly desirable.
