Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality sandwiches while providing excellent customer service. You will play a vital part in ensuring customer satisfaction through food preparation and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Duties

• Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and menu standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and answering any questions regarding menu items.
• Utilize POS systems for processing transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Engage in upselling techniques to enhance the customer experience and promote additional menu items.
• Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure the highest quality of food is served.
• Handle cash transactions responsibly, ensuring accurate cash handling practices.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.

Experience

• Previous experience in food preparation or a kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and understanding retail math concepts.
• Familiarity with food safety practices is a plus.
• Experience with POS systems is advantageous but not mandatory.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 35 per week
