Job Description
DIGITAL CONTENT CREATOR
Notice to California Residents: Please review the California Employee and Applicant Privacy Policy prior to submitting your application
Athletic is on a mission to revolutionize the beer industry by making fantastic and ground-breaking non-alcoholic beverages. We are excited to be searching for a passionate and enthusiastic individual to join our team. At Athletic and through our products, we believe we can have a positive impact on the health, activity, and opportunity in our communities - we actively seek representation from all diverse communities to continue to broaden our horizons.
We’re looking for a proactive, culturally plugged-in Digital Content Creator to join our team. This is a hands-on, high-output role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can consistently deliver engaging content on a weekly cadence.
You’ll be responsible for bringing the Athletic brand to life across digital platforms — concepting, shooting, editing, and publishing compelling content that drives awareness, engagement, and brand love. The ideal candidate is equal parts storyteller and executor: someone who doesn’t wait for direction, spots opportunities in real time, and turns ideas into scroll-stopping content quickly.
Job Responsibilities:
- Content Creation & Storytelling
- Own a consistent weekly content output cadence across priority channels (social, digital, email, web).
- Concept, shoot, and edit short-form and mid-form video content as well as static assets using mobile and lightweight production tools.
- Move fluidly from ideation → production → publishing — often within the same day.
- Capture real-time brand moments, community stories, partnerships, and cultural trends.
- Maintain brand voice, tone, and visual consistency across all platforms.
- Creative Innovation & Trendspotting
- Stay ahead of platform trends, emerging formats, and creator best practices.
- Pitch fresh, innovative content ideas weekly to keep Athletic culturally relevant
- Experiment with new storytelling approaches, formats, and features to elevate brand presence.
- Strategy & Performance
- Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to align content with campaigns, products, and brand initiatives
- Analyze performance metrics and optimize content based on insights and KPIs
- Contribute meaningfully to content calendars with forward-thinking ideas and reactive cultural moments.
- Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may be changed or assigned at any time, with or without notice.
Desired Experience/ Traits
Who You Are:
- A proactive self-starter who takes ownership and consistently delivers high-quality weekly output
- A strong visual storyteller with a deep understanding of what makes audiences stop scrolling.
- Comfortable being scrappy - shooting on iPhone or lightweight tools, and editing content quickly without sacrificing quality.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Energized by feedback and motivated to continuously improve your craft.
- A collaborative team player who communicates clearly and brings positive, high-integrity energy to the team.
- Comfortable being on-camera or directing on-camera talent.
Skills and Experience:
- 2-5 years of experience in content creation, social media or a related field, preferably working with consumer lifestyle and/or beverage brands.
- Proven experience creating and editing short-form video content for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
- Proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, CapCut, or similar tools).
- Strong understanding of social trends, audience engagement strategies, and platform nuances.
- Experience in analyzing content performance and applying insights to future creative.
- Experience working within established brand guidelines.
- Portfolio of representative work required.
